World’s biggest firework goes off with a pretty spectacular bang

It’s as big and spectacular as you’d expect a massive firework to be.

It’s as loud and colourful as you’d expect the world’s largest firework to be.

Weighing nearly 464.826 kilograms it exploded above the Japanese city of Saitama during the 13th Kounosu Fireworks Festival.

As most of us couldn’t be there in person to watch the stunning display through our iPhone camera screen, some kind-hearted person has thankfully done so for us – with a wide-angle lens. Bonus!
