Another amazing 3D printing breakthrough!

A dog called Derby only has short little deformed front legs which means he has very limited movement. But now, thanks to 3D Systems and Peace and Paws, he has new means of moving. The 3D prosthetic legs now mean he is able to run properly for the first time. Watch the video below…

3D Systems commented on the video: ‘Many of you have pointed out that Derby’s prosthetics seem too low. We started this way to give him a chance to get used to his new legs. But with 3D printing it’s easy to iterate design, so he is being fitted with progressively longer legs until he reaches his optimal height’
