These incredibly detailed pictures of famous cities are drawn entirely from memory
Stefan Bleekrode, 28, often takes a trip down memory lane. And from those memories, he draws the most unbelievable pictures!
We introduce to you one of the most incredible cityscape artists EVER.
This artist from the Netherlands, who says on his website that he is ‘attracted to the (urban) landscape’, draws images of things he has seen throughout his travels.
The amazing thing is, he doesn’t use any actual photographs but instead draws all his paintings entirely from the image he remembers in his head.
Among the cities he has sketched so far are New York, London and Paris.
Stefan uses pencil to draw these ridiculously accurate and precise drawings.
He sometimes jots down notes to remember little details of certain buildings or places.
The city at night, still as diligently drawn as in the daylight. Stefan says that he enjoys ‘working out the intricate patterns of artificial light in deserted streets at night’
